SoftWave TRT is a form of shockwave technology. However, where shockwave causes tissue damage, SoftWave causes the cells to vibrate at a frequency that causes a healing response WITHOUT rupturing the cell membranes. The healing response is in 3 steps. First, there is an immediate down regulation of inflammation. Patients feel an immediate relief of pain and pressure, and improved function. This is typically seen with an increased range of motion. The next 2 benefits of SofWave takes between 8 and 10 weeks for healing to occur. First is the activation and aggregation of endogenous stem-cells. As degenerated cells die off, new stem-cells are available to take over. Finally, SoftWave TRT creates a process known as angiogenesis. This is where your body creates new blood vessels, which brings in additional blood to encourage healing. As a chiropractor for 38 years, I have not seen anything like it. We look forward to healing you!
